Green Bay, WI. (May 10, 2023) - At the recently held ‘Build Up Showcase’, four startups showcased their unique business models, shared their products and services, all in a fast-paced pitch format.
Build Up, the Chamber’s tech accelerator, has attracted a diverse range of entrepreneurs who are changing the game in their respective industries. Build Up is a tech accelerator focused on Idea & Minimum Viable Product (MVP) stage, high-growth tech-based startups in Northeast Wisconsin. Up to five companies from a range of verticals were selected from a competitive applicant pool to participate in this 10-week cohort.
“This is an exciting time to be an entrepreneur in Greater Green Bay,” says Kelly Armstrong, Vice President of Economic Development with the Chamber. “We have more connectivity than ever and we continue to build out resources for entrepreneurs. Our goal is to see these companies take root here and years down the road watch them hire their 100th employee.”
Lamarr Banks, Urban Hub Community Manager, added “With the support of investors we were able to provide these companies with a $2,000 grant to help them build up to the next stage.”
The Greater Green Bay Chamber is excited to highlight the four startups below:
E-PT Solutions: E-PT Solutions is a Saas company offering a novel application that will revolutionize how remote services are rendered with physical and occupational therapy clinics. It features a comprehensive telehealth option that is unique and pertinent for therapy practices and clinicians to help patients supplement their in-person visits through increasing patient engagement.
Renterize: Renterize is an online market platform that allows users to rent out personal items to other users in their local community. Users can list items of all sorts such as yard games, power tools, electronics, camping gear, and much more. Users are able to rent out items on a day-to-day basis.
Roving Blue: Roving Blue products harness "The Power of EO3TM", a new way to produce and dissolve ozone gas into water. This gives standard tap water bleach-like power. Roving Blue products quickly kill unwanted microorganisms in drinking water, on meats and produce, and on surfaces.
Skip the Warm-Up: Skip the Warm-Up develops technologies related to heat therapy to enhance the performance of athletes. The first product is a patent-pending knee sleeve that provides pain relief, injury prevention, better performance and shorter warm-up times. Skip the Warm-Up seeks to help get people back to doing what they love faster.
