Chamber Vice President Elected to Industry Board

Green Bay, WI. (August 17, 2023) - Eric Vanden Heuvel, Chamber Vice President of Talent & Education has been elected to serve on the Board of Directors for the Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives (ACCE), an Alexandria, Va.-based association of over 9,000 professionals who work for and with more than 1,600 chambers of commerce. 

Members of ACCE’s board of directors represent more than 50 organizations, including many of the world’s largest and most influential regional chambers of commerce.

In his role with the Greater Green Bay Chamber, Vanden Heuvel is responsible for the creation and implementation of community strategies aimed at the attraction, retention, and development of people within the region. As a lifelong Green Bay resident and graduate of UW-Green Bay (2007), Vanden Heuvel is passionate about driving growth in northeastern Wisconsin. After earning his master’s degree in educational leadership from Concordia University (2010), he worked as a teacher and principal, as well as the chief operating officer for the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Green Bay. In addition to his role at the Chamber, Vanden Heuvel also serves as the Vice President of the Green Bay Education Foundation and the East Shore Drive Neighborhood Association, is a board member for Achieve Brown County and also the Center for Civic Engagement at UW- Green Bay. Vanden Heuvel has also held the position as President of the Green Bay Area Public School District Board of Education.
